ISCM Retreat Reservation Policy

We realize you may be booking your retreat many months in advance and that it may be challenging to make a financial commitment at this time. However, we require a deposit of 25% to secure your reservation due to the high demand for ISCM retreats and to discourage last-minute cancellations.

Of course, we understand situations may arise where you will be forced to change or cancel your reservation. In this case, please contact the ISCM as soon as possible at [email protected] or at 438 377-1597.

 

The terms and deadlines prescribed by the ISCM for canceling or modifying your reservation is as follows:

 

Up to 21 days before the retreat start date

 

Between 21 days and retreat start date

 

Should you be interested in booking another ISCM retreat that is currently full, we can add your name to the wait list. Provided there’s enough time to make the necessary arrangements, we will contact you should an opening become available.

Retreat payments made to the ISCM are not refundable nor transferable. Please understand such changes and cancellations lead to additional expenses for the ISCM and a lost opportunity for others to participate in a retreat. For more details, please refer to the FAQs below.

 What happens if I need to change my retreat reservation within 21 days of my arrival?

 The ISCM will do its best to book you into another retreat within three (3) months of your original reservation dates. Your deposit will then be transferred. Please review the retreats currently available here then contact us at [email protected] or at 438 377-1597 to see what we can arrange for you.

 

If there are no other retreat dates that suit my schedule, may I cancel my reservation and get a refund?

 

While we encourage you to support our non-profit mission by donating the amount you paid to the ISCM, your deposit is refundable. However, a $20 administrative fee will be retained. To obtain a refund, please contact the ISCM at [email protected] or at 438 377-1597.

 

Per our cancellation policy, ISCM retreat payments are non-refundable nor transferable. Please understand such modifications may result in additional expenses for the ISCM and a lost opportunity for others to attend a retreat. We therefore encourage you to support our not-for-profit mission by donating the amount you have paid (in part or in full) to the ISCM. These donations are tax deductible, and your receipt will be issued the following February for the calendar year in question.

I can no longer afford the full cost of the retreat I booked, but I would still like to attend. Is there anything you can do?

The ISCM is committed to providing high quality retreats to everyone, no matter their financial situation. If you’re experiencing difficulties, we would be pleased to provide you with a subsidy so you can still attend the retreat. Please contact us at [email protected] or at 438 377-1597 so we can discuss your situation.

 

If I am on a waiting list for a retreat, do I still need to make a deposit?

No. A deposit will only be taken once a spot becomes available for the ISCM retreat you’re interested in booking. When the retreat is available, we will send you a registration confirmation and deposit receipt by email, the balance will be taken twenty-one (21) days prior to the start date of the retreat. The balance taken and your registration confirmation receipt will be emailed to you.
